Administrative Professional and Paraprofessional Contract
The Special Education Clerical Paraprofessional will provide administrative & scheduling support to the special education department, school, and public community by communicating information, addressing problems, providing support to the special education director, special education staff, principal, and students, and maintaining the special education office efficiently and professionally so that school business can be conducted and managed effectively while maintaining strict confidentiality.
This is an extremely hands‑on position that will require someone with the skills, energy, and creativity to ensure that the office runs smoothly despite regular interruptions. The successful candidate will be required to tactfully take charge of tasks and schedules to ensure successful completion.
Qualifications- Must have a HS diploma or GED and 1-3 years of related experience.
- Must have proven experience interacting positively with the public.
- Must have the ability to handle more than one project/task at a time while maintaining a positive professional demeanor despite numerous interruptions.
- Must demonstrate ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise professional manner.
- Must be computer proficient with general office productivity tools.
- Must be comfortable working with students, adults, and staff in a collaborative and engaged environment.
