The First Grade Teacher at Midland Christian School plays a vital role in providing foundational education, nurturing spiritual growth, and fostering a loving and supportive classroom environment for young students. Bachelor’s Degree Required

Reliable transportation.

This is a full-time, self-contained position.

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with the school’s standards and faith-based principles.
• Plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Incorporate Bible stories, faith-based values, and character education into daily lessons.

• Establish and maintain a positive and supportive classroom conducive to learning and spiritual growth.
• Implement effective behavior management strategies rooted in faith-based principles.
• Foster a sense of community and belonging among students through collaborative activities and teamwork.

• Deliver instruction using a variety of instructional strategies and resources.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments.
