Job Primary Purpose
Provide instructional assistance to special education students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities.
Qualifications- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
- Have met formal academic assessment, associate's degree, or two years of study at an institution of higher learning*
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate
- Ability to work with children with disabilities
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of general office equipment
- Some experience working with children
Work Schedule: 187 days
Salary: Pay Grade 3/Clerical/Paraprofessional. Hiring Schedule Position will remain posted until filled.
