JOB DESCRIPTION
- Successful completion of Pathways to Teaching Class or Child Development Class
- Sincere desire to teach and work with students
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
Reports To: Director of Academies
Job Goal: To learn and develop the skills and knowledge required to teach while under the supervision of a highly qualified educator.
Performance ResponsibilitiesBe able to lift 50 pounds.
Terms of Employment"At will" employment; compensation at an hourly rate paid monthly from time sheet.
Type of PositionNon-Exempt
EvaluationOn-going evaluation by the assigned Cooperating Teacher and evaluated annually by the Director of Academies and/or Cooperating Teacher
