PT Instructor Accounting

Successfully instruct designated entry-level accounting and Quick Books courses in Workforce Continuing Education;
Accounting courses include Accounting I, Accounting II, Introduction to Computerized Accounting, and Computerized Accounting Applications.

Essential Functions Prepare and communicate clear educational objectives while presenting current and accurate course content to the student

Maintain a professional teaching environment

Communicate with Training Coordinator regarding room, media and copy needs

Maintain control of purchased supplies for class

Provide students with evaluation forms for completion

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications Associates Degree Must be able to show proficiency in Intuit Quick Books Must  be available to instruct in afternoons or evenings

Preferred Qualifications Certified Intuit Quick Books User Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license

Instructional experience

Experience creating lesson plans

Physical Demands Frequently moves equipment or paperwork weighing up to 20 pounds

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

The person in this position needs to occasionally move from office to classroom

Office and classroom setting

Duties indoors and some outdoors
