About the Role

Safety Coordinator job at Exxon Mobil in Midland, TX. Field Safety Advisor who will provide direct support to Operations & Maintenance teams. Work schedule 5/2 with occasional weekends.

• Engage stakeholders and quickly build relationships.
• Provide ongoing leadership and coaching to influence team behaviors related to the Personnel Safety Management System (PSMS).
• Lead investigations, identify causal factors/root causes of high‑potential incidents, and communicate findings to senior management.
• Execute complex Safety & Health projects independently or as part of a team.
• Participate in the Buddy Manager program to ensure effective management of contractor workforce.
• Participate in contractor interface discussions as requested.
• Develop content, coordinate, and lead team meetings.
• Collaborate with Operations personnel to maintain effective Emergency Response Plans and coordinate emergency response drills.
• Work in a team environment, remain flexible, and be willing to work alternative hours and weekends.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office; understand and use Smartsheet.

• Knowledge of Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS), Personnel Safety Management System (PSMS), and Work Management System (WMS).
• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• 10+ years of field Safety & Health experience.
