Petroleum Landman

We are looking for an experienced Title Landman local to the West Texas area. Landman:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience

• Research public records to find the owners of the property.
• Prepare mineral takeoff reports with detailed notes.
• Prepare Leasehold takeoff reports with detailed notes.
• Identify HBP and open acreage using available resources.
• Evaluate lease provisions and prepare Lease Analysis Worksheets.
• New Mexico experience with the ability to work in the county. (Eddy/Lea)
• Familiar with online resources including TxRRC, Drilling Info, and Courthouse Direct.
• Strong technical knowledge, analytical expertise, and attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office software, especially Excel and Word
• A strong understanding of all title, and how to solve various title problems

• Experience:
  
  3-5 years in landman roles or related field.
• New Mexico experience with the ability to work in the county (Eddy/Lea).
• Familiar with online resources (TxRRC, Drilling Info, Courthouse Direct).
• Strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).
• Understanding of title issues and how to resolve title problems.
