This position provides direct supervision over the following departments:

Applications Engineering Project Engineering Drafting General  Responsibilities:

As Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight across engineering projects and teams. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leading and managing engineering projects from initial design through successful completion.

Coordinating with cross-functional departments, including design, production, and procurement, to ensure projects are delivered on time.

Ensuring all engineering designs, including drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and P&IDs, are accurate and comply with applicable industry specifications and standards.

Developing, reviewing, and approving technical documentation to ensure accuracy of project designs and specifications.

Ensuring designs comply with applicable oil and gas industry codes and standards, including ASME piping and pressure vessel codes, API 11P, API 618 and referenced standards.

Design piping systems and separators.

Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field engineers and project teams.

Performing cost analysis for project estimates and ensuring designs align with budgetary and cost expectations.

Performing fleet package selection based on inquiry information received from the sales team.

Performing various ad hoc duties as required.

Preferred

Experience and Skills:

Ideally will have 10 years in oil and gas industry with 5 years directly related to compression

Experience working with natural gas systems, compressors, pumps, and turbines

Knowledge of NFPA 70 and ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical manuals.

Requirements:

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.

Knowledge of safe handling practices for flammable gases, liquids, and high-pressure systems

Strong knowledge of regulations, and safety standards.

Proven leadership and teamwork skills.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

Employment for this role is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and MVR check in accordance with company policy and applicable laws and requires a DOT physical.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment This position is primarily office-based with occasional travel to field locations as required.

Office Environment:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer - Ability to move about the office to access files, equipment, or attend meetings - Manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment (computers, phones, printers) - Sufficient visual acuity to read documents, analyze data on computer screens, and review reports - May occasionally need to bend, reach, or stoop within the work area - Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, binders, small equipment)(Field Travel on Occasional):
Periodic travel to field locations, warehouses, or operational sites as needed - When visiting field sites, may be required to:

- Walk on uneven surfaces or outdoor terrain - Stand for extended periods during site inspections or meetings - Wear required PPE including safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and other site-specific protective equipment - Work in varied weather conditions and industrial environments - Lift or carry materials up to 50 pounds
