Overview
Environmental Technician will oversee soil and groundwater remediation, support operation and maintenance of soil and groundwater remediation systems, and collect soil and groundwater samples and other environmental compliance data.
Responsibilities- Collect soil and groundwater samples and other field data.
- Coordinate with vendors, including analytical laboratories and on-site contractors.
- Conduct routine groundwater monitoring.
- Help install, operate, and maintain remediation systems.
- Inspect equipment and materials for defects and troubleshoot as necessary.
- Provide oversight during soil or groundwater remediation activities.
- Conduct environmental compliance inspections.
- Independently execute work in accordance with work plans.
- Meet quality and safety goals.
- Interact on-site with vendors/contractors, clients, and regulators.
- Clean and calibrate equipment and instrumentation.
- Record field notes for the specific tasks performed.
- Two or more years of relevant work experience.
- Willing to travel at least 75%.
- Class D driver’s license with good driving record.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
- Experience in Microsoft Office, including MS Word and Excel. Experience in mobile data collection is preferred.
- Read and interpret results of sampling and monitoring.
- Ability to maintain and/or repair mechanical equipment, such as pumps, compressors, oxidizers, and engines.
- Read and interpret documents such as work plans, operating and maintenance instructions/manuals, and procedure manuals.
- Reliable, dependable, and reports to work on a consistent basis.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds.

CompensationUSD $25.20 - USD $26.86 /Hr.
Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
