Environmental Project Manager – Midland, TX (Hybrid)

As an Environmental Project Manager at AECOM, you will lead environmental justice, remediation, and Brownfields projects, driving innovative solutions while ensuring client satisfaction and project success.

• Understand site investigation and remediation techniques to drive solutions for clients.
• Manage overall project scope, objectives, budget, schedule, and profitability.
• Provide leadership and guidance to AECOM staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Engage existing and potential clients regarding AECOM service capabilities.
• Mentor staff and oversee multiple Project Managers on various projects.
• Supervise all phases of projects, ensuring technical oversight and quality control.
• Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
• Consistently deliver profit margins as planned.

• B.S. in engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field.
• Four or more years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management, and business development, or demonstrated equivalency.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
• Successful background check clearance.

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer or Geologist.
• Experience working with local or state regulatory agencies in Colorado, California, or Texas.
• Current 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification.
• PMP certification.
• Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations.

• Annual salary range: $86,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience.
