Job Responsibilities- Perform detailed preventative maintenance on PLC systems, HMI devices, instrumentation, and control circuits
- Troubleshoot mid-level automation issues involving sensors, relays, drives, communication networks, and I/O failures
- Install and wire control panels, field devices, and instrumentation according to specifications and drawings
- Test, calibrate, and verify proper operation of automation and instrumentation components
- Support system commissioning and field validation activities
- Prepare documentation, test results, and recommended corrective actions
- Coordinate with project managers, programmers, and senior technicians for complex or integrated system issues
- Provide customer support by explaining findings, maintenance needs, and corrective actions
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 to 4 years of experience in industrial controls, automation, electrical maintenance, or field service work
- Ability to perform detailed preventative maintenance and system-level diagnostics with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of PLC systems, HMI devices, instrumentation, control circuits, sensors, relays, drives, and communication networks
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and control documentation
- Experience supporting commissioning, testing, and field validation activities
- Ability to coordinate with internal teams and customers on technical findings and corrective actions
