Design Project Engineer - ELMT at CEC; Onsite

Location:

8801/8987 Macon Rd, BLDG MPC, Columbus Engine Center (CEC), Columbus, GA, USA.

• Facilitate Repair and Limits design tasks, including Project Engineering, technical writing, and associated design work.
• Provide project management support for various Aftermarket/CIPT/CAIPTs related to GTF hardware.
• Serve as onsite representative and support Repair & Limits Design tasks and engine/hardware investigations and dispositions.
• Coordinate and influence resources to meet technical, development and production requirements.
• Monitor and trend hardware health for limit updates, product improvement, and repair activities.
• Liaise between Aftermarket Operations and Engineering regarding design tasks, investigation scope, and implementation.
• Prepare and present status and technical content to Pratt & Whitney stakeholders.
• Facilitate or complete evaluation of incoming tasks and hardware non‑conformances.
• Support Design team in resolving Eagle Net cases raised by Aftermarket Operations.

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Minimum:
  Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.
• Minimum 5+ years of mechanical design or manufacturing engineering experience (or 3+ years with an advanced degree).
• Seasoned professional technical contributor.
• 10% travel required.
• Advanced degree and/or experience in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Collaboration skills and ability to work across disciplines and management levels.
• Working knowledge of SAP, P&W Quality Systems, and configuration management process.
