Responsibilities
- Work in a project team environment to design, modify, and upgrade new and existing power plant electrical systems.
- Develop and produce electrical drawing sets including relay and metering diagrams, AC and DC schematic diagrams, point‑to‑point wiring diagrams, single‑line diagrams, synchronizing diagrams, and cable schedules.
- Create accurate wiring drawings and review vendor drawings for integration into the overall project design.
- Participate in field walk‑downs and data gathering at client facilities.
- Prepare drawings for installers and electricians, conceptualise wiring termination requirements, and assist engineers with initial design requirements.
- Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary engineering and design teams to interface and communicate design details.
- Be eligible for nuclear station access badge (unescorted).
This position is based on a hybrid work schedule and requires in‑office presence three days per week.
Qualifications- Associate’s Degree in drafting or a high‑school diploma with equivalent technical design experience.
- 10 or more years of detailed wiring design experience for single‑line, relay and metering diagrams, including medium‑voltage and 480V systems.
- Familiarity with digital control systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Micro Station for power plant or large facility projects.
- Strong understanding of drafting and design practices and theory.
- Ability to interface and communicate with engineering teams across disciplines.
- Do not sponsor work authorization in the U.S. for this position.
- Produce wiring diagrams and schematics for installers and electricians.
- Assist engineers with initial design requirements.
- Conceptualise plans and details to convey wiring termination requirements accurately.
- Extensive experience with AutoCAD/Micro Station.

$77,890 – $118,999. Includes base salary or hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package. Eligible for discretionary bonus.
