Are you a mid-career engineer looking to help shape the future of satellite communications?
An innovative space technology company is seeking an Associate Flight Assurance Engineer to support the quality, reliability and mission success of next-generation spacecraft systems.
You'll work alongside engineering, manufacturing and programme teams to develop mission assurance processes, perform risk assessments, investigate technical issues and ensure products meet the highest standards for safety, quality and performance.
What you'll be doing:
- Support mission and flight assurance activities across the product lifecycle
- Conduct reliability and risk assessments, including FMEA and root cause investigations
- Develop assurance documentation and compliance plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve quality and manufacturing processes
- Help qualify new products for flight through structured verification and validation activities
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years' experience in Quality, Reliability, Flight Assurance or Mission Assurance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and technical documentation abilities
- Knowledge of AS9100, NASA or DoD quality standards is advantageous
