  • Ensure treatment operations are conducted safely, reliably, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
  • Lead and support continuous-improvement initiatives focused on reducing treatment cost per barrel, improving equipment reliability, optimizing chemical usage, and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Monitor treatment-system performance, including throughput, water quality, chemical consumption, equipment uptime, and operating costs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate preventative maintenance and corrective actions for treatment infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate records of water volumes entering, moving through, and leaving treatment facilities, including treated-water inventory, disposal volumes, transfers, and recovered hydrocarbons.
  • Reconcile water balances and identify discrepancies, capacity constraints, and opportunities to improve utilization of internal produced-water volumes.
  • Use historical data, operational trends, and development forecasts to anticipate future treatment demand and capacity requirements.
  • Coordinate treatment capacity, storage, supply, and takeaway needs to support completion schedules and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Partner with Production, Completions, Chemical, Facilities, and Water Resources teams to align treatment strategy with field operations and development plans.
  • Work with Supply Chain to manage treatment-related materials, chemicals, equipment, rentals, and service providers.
  • Support vendor performance management, cost reviews, and identification of commercial savings opportunities.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, training materials, and operational best practices.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and field support to treatment operators and contract personnel.
Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in produced-water management, water treatment, water recycling, saltwater disposal, or related oil and gas operations.
  • Working knowledge of field operations, equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and safe-work practices.
  • Ability to interpret operational data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost performance.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams and contractors.
  • Ability to work in a field-based environment and travel throughout the Permian Basin as operationally required.
