Field Verification Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Field Verification Engineer / Mechanical Engineer – Asset Management to support asset management and field verification activities for industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with mechanical equipment, asset management, CMMS systems, preventive maintenance, equipment hierarchy, asset master data, and field walkdowns within process or packaging plants. Experience in FMCG, Pharma, Food Processing, Chemical Processing, or Industrial Manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

• Conduct asset walkdowns and field verification activities to collect and validate equipment data.
• Review P&IDs, equipment drawings, manuals, and plant documentation for asset information.
• Develop and maintain asset registers for mechanical equipment.
• Create and validate equipment master data and asset attributes

• Establish equipment hierarchies and parent-child relationships for CMMS deployment.
• Develop Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans for mechanical equipment.
• Prepare Job Plans, Task Lists, and Standard Maintenance Procedures
  .
• Validate Bills of Materials (BoM) for maintainable assets.
• Define maintenance strategies based on equipment criticality and OEM recommendations
  .
• Create structured asset hierarchies aligned with client standards.
• Prepare CMMS-ready asset upload templates
  .
• Support CMMS data cleansing, enrichment, migration, and standardization activities.
• Validate asset master data before system upload.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, and Engineering teams to collect required information.
• Interact with OEMs and vendors to obtain technical and equipment information.
• Participate in client reviews, workshops, and technical discussions.
• Provide progress reports and technical updates.

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  .
• 5–7 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in process or packaging plants
  .
• Industry experience in FMCG, Pharma, Food Processing
  , or similar industrial environments.
• Strong experience in Asset Management and CMMS
  .
• Experience with IBM Maximo, SAP PM, or other CMMS platforms
  .
• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, maintenance strategies, and asset reliability.
• Experience with asset walkdowns and field verification
  .
• Experience developing asset registers and equipment hierarchies
  .
• Experience with asset master data and equipment attributes
  .
• Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance plans and maintenance procedures
  .
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, equipment drawings, and technical manuals
  .
• Experience with BoM validation
  .

• CMMS migration, deployment, or data cleansing experience.
• Experience creating Job Plans and Task Lists
  .
• Equipment criticality assessment and maintenance strategy development.
• Mechanical equipment reliability improvement.
• Cross-functional coordination with Maintenance, Operations, Reliability, and Engineering teams.
• Experience preparing asset upload templates
  .
• Experience participating in technical workshops and client discussions.

Mechanical Engineering + Asset Management + CMMS + Process/Packaging Plant + Field Verification

Candidates with only mechanical design, construction, software/IT, or technician experience without strong asset management and CMMS exposure are not suitable for this position.
