Role DescriptionArcadis is seeking a Project Administrator in our Houston, TX office to support a major key account with project administration and financial assistance for multiple project managers. The successful candidate must be well organized, professional, able to interface with internal team members, meet multiple and simultaneous deadlines, and work both independently and on teams. Mentoring junior staff will also be part of the role.
RoleAccountabilities
The role involves supporting multiple project managers and teams with financial management, contract and subcontract administration.
- Assist with project setup in Oracle.
- Monitor budgets, evaluate project performance, and forecast.
- Track and resolve financial issues, manage invoicing, and monitor accounts receivable and unbilled items.
- Follow up with accounting and project managers as needed.
- Provide financial support during audits and reviews.
- Prepare and communicate purchase orders and subcontracts.
- Monitor insurance requirements and handle work orders.
- Set up new clients and vendors.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as required.
- Train, mentor, and support the professional development of junior staff.
- Possibly assist in managing small- to medium-sized projects or programs, ensuring efficient resource use to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Position requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, including management of small-sized projects.
- High School diploma with equivalent work experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong computer skills, including a high level of competence with Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a variety of audiences internal and external.
- Strong proofreading and basic research skills.
Preferred qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent years of experience.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. Salary range for this position is $49,390–84,950, based on experience, education, budget, and location.
