Financial Analyst
The Kent Companies is looking for a highly analytical and driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys turning complex financial data into clear business insights that drive strategy and performance.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, reporting, and performance analysis across multiple business entities. You’ll partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support decision-making, improve processes, and help shape the financial future of a rapidly growing company.
What You’ll Do- Lead and support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
- Build financial models and perform scenario analysis to support business decisions
- Analyze trends, variances, and key performance indicators across the business
- Develop recurring reports, dashboards, and executive-level financial packages
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve financial processes
- Partner with Operations, Accounting, Fuel, and leadership teams on strategic initiatives
- Translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights
- Support month-end close and ongoing performance tracking
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or related experience
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and financial modeling
- Experience working in a multi-entity or high-volume environment preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, PDI, FYISoft, or Laserfiche is a plus
