Key Responsibilities- Plan and provide individual and group therapy aligned with IEP goals.
- Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for therapy service termination.
- Conduct independent evaluations to assess eligibility for services.
- Participate in IEP meetings for placement and goal setting.
- Collaborate with teachers to enhance communication skills through classroom activities.
- Offer professional development to school personnel on communication deficits.
- Communicate therapy goals and progress with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Create a conducive learning environment suitable for student maturity levels.
- Coordinate ongoing evaluation of speech‑language pathology services and implement changes as needed.
- Assist in selecting equipment and instructional materials.
- Compile, maintain, and file all necessary reports and records.
- Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Texas SLP license and valid driver’s license.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Flexible schedule; up to 40 hours per week.
