Description:
The Registered Nurse will rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition.
Postpartum care is not included.
Experience with telemetry interpretation, high-risk antepartum, and the use of external and internal fetal monitoring is essential.
Skills include administering medications, managing IVs, and conducting various assessments such as sterile vaginal exams and non-stress tests.
The role involves assisting with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
Candidates should be familiar with patient management for neonates, infants, and adults.
Ability to work with a fluctuating daily census and increased patient visits is necessary.
Compliance with safety protocols, including isolation precautions and vaccination administration, is required.
