Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a TX or compact license, night shifts, and multiple certifications.

Job Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting,

• Covers triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition roles, with no post-partum assignment,

• Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00,

• Assignment length is up to 16 weeks, with a minimum of 13 weeks considered,

• Cerner EMR experience is preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required; pending license accepted but must be active before start,

• Certifications required: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP),

• Two references from supervisors within the last 3 years required,

• Must live outside a 50-mile radius; local candidates are not accepted,

• Responsibilities include rotating through various roles within labor and delivery, excluding postpartum care,

• Holiday coverage may be required as part of the schedule,

• On-site drug screening is conducted as part of pre-employment requirements,
