Position: Paramedic (7 On/7 Off)

Job Description
  • Schedule:

    7 Days ON / 7 Days OFF.
  • Pay ranges between $5,300-$5,500 per week depending on experience.
  • No cap on overtime – 24 hour shifts. Can pick up shifts on your week off.

City Ambulance Service is rapidly expanding our operation, with multiple station locations across Texas. We are currently looking to expand our team of Paramedics in the West Texas Region. We seek experienced, dedicated, and motivated Paramedics capable of providing the advanced patient care our patients and partners expect from City Ambulance Service.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Respond to calls for emergency and non‑emergency transports.
  • Assess a patient’s condition and determine a course of treatment per local protocol.
  • Provide first‑aid treatment and/or advanced level life support to patients.
  • Clearly explain procedures to patients, give orders, and relay information to others.
  • Transport patients safely in an ambulance.
  • Transfer patients to the hospital or other healthcare facilities.
  • Report observations and treatment to physicians or other healthcare facility staff.
  • Document medical care given to patients promptly and effectively.
  • Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use.
  • Maintain and clean crew quarters, ambulance, and station locations daily.
Qualifications
  • Ability to sit, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from the ground to waist level.
  • Ability to coordinate activities closely with others in stressful situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to take direction and adapt to changing situations and job duties.
  • Experience with MICU‑level transports including IV pump, ventilator, and cardiac monitoring.
  • Valid State of Texas Paramedic license required.
  • Preferably 2 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services.
Expected Earnings
  • $5,300‑$5,500 per week.
  • No cap on overtime.
  • Weekly pay broken down by hourly and overtime rates.
  • Flexibility to pick up shifts on your 7 days off.
