Surgical Technician - Dickens

Job Description SHIFT & SCHEDULE

Full Time, Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Participate in patient positioning and surgical site verification
• Assist with prepping and draping the surgical field
• Ensure all instruments, implants, and equipment are available and functioning
• Assist with controlling bleeding using cautery, clamps, or ties
• Assist with deep and superficial wound closure
• Perform knot tying, running sutures, or staple application as appropriate
• Pass instruments efficiently and accurately
• Assist with drilling, reaming, suctioning, irrigation, and cutting sutures
• Assist with reduction, positioning, and implant support in orthopedic cases
• Communicate effectively with surgical team
• Participate in on‑call rotation for trauma and after‑hours cases

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Orthopedic surgical experience strongly preferred
