Crisis Response Specialist

Permia Care seeks a Crisis Response Specialist to deliver community-based behavioral health crisis services across West Texas. In this role, you will provide rapid assessment, de-escalation, and stabilization for individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, or IDD-related crises. Responsibilities include conducting risk and safety assessments, developing crisis and safety plans, providing brief counseling and support, and coordinating with law enforcement, hospitals, and community partners to ensure safe, appropriate care.

You will connect clients and families to ongoing Permia Care services, document all interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a mission-driven, client-focused environment. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on vulnerable populations while gaining experience in community-based crisis and recovery services.
