Job Overview
The Houseperson supports the housekeeping team by preparing units for cleaning after guest departure, managing linen duties, and maintaining department storage areas. This role follows the company’s safety program, including OSHA and GHS regulations.
Hourly wage: $17.50.
Valid driver’s license required.
Shift availability: 1st & 2nd Shift, 7am–10:30pm; weekends required.
- Prepare units for cleaning after guest departure to maintain high quality standards.
- Handle linen duties: receive, sort, fold, and collect soiled linen, and create linen and amenities bags.
- Assist housekeeping team with upkeep of supplies and delivery of linens, paper products, and unit amenities.
- Strip and make beds and assist with cleaning as needed.
- Remove trash from units and floors.
- Organize, clean, and maintain stock levels of department storage areas according to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Deliver requested items to guest units (e.g., irons, coffee, paper products, kitchen utensils).
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with employees, guests, and owners.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Professional appearance and a positive, can‑do attitude with a team focus.
