A well-established natural gas infrastructure platform in Midland is hiring a Senior IT Engineer to serve as the hands‑on technical anchor for its IT environment. This is a senior IC seat — not a helpdesk role, not a manager role — for someone who treats the environment as their own and drives issues to resolution without being asked.
Reports to the IT Operations Manager. Small, senior team. Real ownership from day one.
What you'll own:- Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
- Microsoft Entra Intune — conditional access, compliance, identity lifecycle
- Unifi networking across office and field locations
- Managed endpoint protection, patching, and device hardening
- SaaS administration, license management, SSO integration
- Service desk ownership, documentation, and end-user support
- 5+ years progressive IT experience across infrastructure, cloud, and end-user support
- Hands‑on Windows Server, Entra/Intune, and Unifi experience in a production environment
- Strong general sysadmin instincts and documentation discipline
- Service‑oriented approach to end‑user support
- Energy, midstream, or utilities sector experience a plus
- Microsoft (MS-102, AZ-104) or networking certifications a plus
- Familiarity with OT/SCADA environments a plus
