The IT Support Technician assists in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s enterprise IT infrastructure, including audio‑visual systems, servers, networking, and cloud services. The role requires deep technical knowledge, project coordination, and user support across a geographically dispersed infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with a geographically dispersed infrastructure group to plan, implement, and complete IT infrastructure projects
Meet with business leaders to gather project scopes and communicate requirements to the infrastructure group
Manage day‑to‑day operations of cloud and on‑prem infrastructures such as Barco, Crestron, Service Now, Cisco Meraki, Okta, AWS Workspace, Intune, App Space, and Office 365
Image personal computers and configure them for employee use
Handle security, maintenance, and monitoring of enterprise systems
Automate common tasks and processes
Provide C‑Level executive support
Maintain technical configuration documentation and procedures
Train end users on systems and tools
Assist during after‑hours maintenance windows
Perform related duties as assigned
Associate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience
3+ years of experience in systems administration, support, project management, or similar role
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills for documenting problems, solutions, and collaborating with users
Logical, organized work skills with prioritization and timely resolution of multiple tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel for data analysis, manipulation, and reporting
Experience with Microsoft Visio for creating process flowcharts and diagrams
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for collaboration and project management
Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting
Understanding of data flow through LAN and WAN systems
Knowledge of current personal computer hardware components
Ability to work under stress, meet multiple deadlines, and maintain calm professionalism under adversity
Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds occasionally and availability to work outside normal business hours when necessary
