The AI Adoption and Enablement Lead builds the workforce capabilities needed to adopt and responsibly use Artificial Intelligence (AI) across Diamondback Energy. This role develops the strategy, capabilities, programs, and communities needed to embed AI into everyday work, accelerate adoption of enterprise AI products and tools, and build sustainable AI fluency across the workforce. Partnering with AI Product Owners, business leaders technology teams, and others, the role identifies barriers to adoption, develops role-based enablement, measures usage and behavioural change, and helps ensure AI investments translate into sustained business outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:Include but are not limited to
- Lead Diamondback's enterprise AI adoption and workforce enablement strategy, roadmap, standards, and success measures
- Assess workforce roles, workflows, AI readiness, and capability gaps to develop targeted strategies to increase effective AI adoption
- Develop AI capability pathways for executives, business functions, technical disciplines, managers, and individual contributors
- Design practical learning experiences, guidance, playbooks, job aids, use‑case examples, and hands‑on programmes that enable employees to apply AI effectively and responsibly in their work
- Partner with AI Product Owners and business stakeholders to develop adoption strategies for AI products, including stakeholder readiness, workflow integration, communications, training, launch support, and reinforcement
- Identify barriers to adoption and value realisation, including workflow, skill, trust, usability, process, incentive and organisational barriers, and recommend interventions
- Develop and support a network of AI champions, power users and practitioners that accelerates peer learning, experimentation and reuse across the enterprise
- Maintain the enterprise AI knowledge hub and support an internal practitioner community that promotes peer learning and knowledge sharing
- Measure AI fluency, learning effectiveness and adoption readiness, and use results to improve programmes and priorities
- Monitor the AI deployment roadmap and adjust enablement priorities to keep workforce capabilities ahead of implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Learning and Development, Organisational Development, Instructional Design, Communications, Business or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in technology adoption, organisational capability, digital transformation, change management, learning and development, product adoption or workforce enablement
- Experience developing enterprise technology adoption strategies and role‑based literacy programmes for diverse workforce audiences
- Experience supporting technology implementations, digital transformation or enterprise change initiatives
- Experience designing interventions that address organisational, behavioural, workflow, skill and trust barriers to technology adoption
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication and programme measurement skills
- Experience with generative AI, enterprise data tools and responsible AI principles
- Experience building AI, data or digital adoption and literacy programmes in a complex enterprise environment
- Ability to translate technical concepts into practical guidance for technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience in oil and gas, energy or another industrial sector
- Relevant certification in instructional design, adult learning, change management or talent development
