We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist to support global sourcing and purchasing operations. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to drive operational excellence, ensure policy compliance, and identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining strong supplier relationships and mitigating risk.
Key Responsibilities- Create, place, and manage global purchase orders, ensuring on‑time delivery and fulfillment.
- Monitor order status, identify risks proactively, and coordinate resolution plans with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate reporting on open purchase orders and supplier performance metrics.
- Manage blanket purchase orders and ensure timely replenishment to prevent production delays.
- Participate in cross‑functional procurement and engineering meetings.
- Oversee weekly inventory consolidations across multiple sites.
- Ensure suppliers meet shipping and booking deadlines to maintain logistics efficiency.
- Analyze spend categories to identify cost reduction and process optimization opportunities.
- Develop and implement continuous improvements in procurement and supply chain processes.
- Generate and analyze supply chain KPIs to support data‑driven decision‑making.
- Support demand planning by evaluating supplier lead times and forecasting production needs.
- Resolve production and supply issues impacting delivery schedules.
- Communicate supply chain risks, including delays, shortages, and logistics constraints.
- Track and improve supplier and supply chain performance using measurable KPIs.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of purchase order management, order fulfillment, and supply chain operations.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive.
