Position Description

We are seeking a highly-motivated, mechanically inclined Compressor Technician with a growth mindset who enjoys a dynamic, hands on, field-based work environment. Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of compressors, glycol dehydration units, B-Tex unit, incinerator, transfer pumps, "control air" air compressors and all equipment associated with compressor facility.

• Oversee Daily Operation and Maintenance of compressors and all equipment associated with compressor.
• Perform valve troubleshooting when needed and record documentation when problems are suspected.
• Answer callouts on compressor facility as needed for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Coordinate with operations staff for compressor adjustments for gas lift system and PM schedules
• Function as the primary point of contact between compressor rental/service companies and the production foreman/maintenance foreman
• Support EH&S departments in ensuring compliance with Air Emissions permits.
• Assist in planning, conducting, and evaluating approaches to meeting the project objectives in a timely fashion for repair requests.

• Experience with field compressor and pumping units.
• PEC Safeland Certification
• Experience with RTUs and XsPOC or similar program platforms.
• Electro-mechanical background with experience following safe practices in regard to oil field electrical installations.
• 5 years related experience and a High School diploma or equivalent.
