FACILITY MAINTENANCE AND JANITORIAL TECHNICIAN

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Facility Maintenance & Janitorial Technician is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-functioning office spaces, man camp trailers, and related facilities in support of daily operations. This role combines routine janitorial duties with light building maintenance, ensuring that both administrative and workforce housing areas remain sanitary, orderly, and in good repair.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning of offices, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing common areas, restrooms, and break rooms

Clean and maintain man camp trailers, including sleeping quarters, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas, ensuring facilities meet cleanliness and habitability standards and reporting major housekeeping issues

Restock consumable supplies (paper products, soap, cleaning chemicals) across all serviced locations

Perform light building maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and filters, minor plumbing fixes, touch-up painting, and basic repairs to doors, fixtures, furnishings, and basic yard maintenance to green/parking areas

Identify and report larger maintenance issues (HVAC, electrical, structural) to management or appropriate vendors for follow-up

Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies, notifying supervisors when reorder is needed

Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and use of PPE as required

Complete cleaning and maintenance logs or checklists as directed

Respond to as needed cleaning or minor repair requests in a timely manner

Qualifications

Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance work preferred

Basic knowledge of hand tools and minor repair techniques

Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment

Strong attention to detail and reliability

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Valid driver's license, if travel between office or vendor pickups/dropoffs is required.

This position requires work across multiple site types — administrative office settings and remote man camp trailer facilities — and may involve outdoor exposure, oilfield site conditions, and travel between locations within the Permian Basin service area.

Schedule/tasks may require work outside of regular business hours, weekends or holidays.

Systems include HVAC, Septic, water wells, and standard plumbing.
