Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of personnel and activities for assigned departments
- Provide strategic direction and develop, implement and monitor the goals, objectives, priorities and procedures relating to the organizational unit.
- Administer, and optimize departmental budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and support business growth.
- Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across all operational functions.
- Drive operational excellence by implementing process improvements, leveraging technologies, and adopting methods to enhance asset utilization, reduce NPT, and improve service quality
- Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators within functional areas; deliver, data-driven reports and actionable insights to senior leadership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and partnership to support organizational objectives.
- Develop, monitor and report on operating costs within functional areas.
- Oversee hiring practices to ensure strategic actions are designed to minimize regrettable attrition, build competencies for organizational development, and ensure team effectiveness.
- Facilitate and enable Region based training/s in order to maintain current competencies and enhance employee’s professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with all NOV Company and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies and procedures; proactively promote a safe work environment.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing, field services, energy, or industrial environments.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, customer-driven operation.
- Strong understanding of field operations, assembly/production workflows, and support functions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and manage competing priorities.
- Collaborative, hands‑on leadership style
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Data-driven and results-oriented mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills
