Reliability Technician - Midland

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, verify, and receive equipment prior to scheduled dismantling
• Perform controlled mechanical and electrical disassembly per approved procedures
• Safely handle, tag, label, and store components to preserve condition and traceability
• Stage components in correct order, orientation, and grouping by equipment, serial number, and job reference
• Assist Reliability Engineers with visual and dimensional inspections as requested
• Drain, clean, protect, and preserve components to prevent damage or contamination
• Record dismantling details, condition notes, photos, and maintain tracking logs
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and shop personnel on schedules and readiness
• Communicate abnormal conditions observed during dismantling
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, PPE, and material‑handling requirement

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience with equipment teardown, repair, or shop operations
• Familiarity with industrial or mechanical equipment
• Forklift or lifting equipment experience

• Maintain strong safety culture.
• Ability to follow work instructions and defined dismantling sequences
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and traceability
• Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work in a shop or industrial environment
• Capable of standing, lifting, and handling heavy or oil‑contaminated equipment
• Ability to wear PPE and follow safety protocols at all times
• Must be open to cross‑training opportunities.
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled manufacturing shop
• Stand up to 12 hours daily
• Walk up to 12 hours daily
• Bending/stooping up to 12 hours daily
• Repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily
• Lifting weight up to 50lbs regularly
