We are looking for an Electronics Test Technician located in Odessa, TX

What You Will Do
  • Perform operational support for VSDs and other equipment and system products such as wiring, cabling, and other complex equipment in the shop environment
  • Perform preventative maintenance, routine and emergency repair, and calibration on components of the VSD units
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in electronics assembly
  • Able to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Basic knowledge of electronics, industrial safety, electrical hazards and proper use of hand tools
  • Basic math and problem solving skills
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role
  • Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required
  • Work hours are generally 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday (with overtime as needed)

  • Requires visual and hearing acuity
  • Work primarily occurs in a heated and air-conditioned manufacturing environment
  • Hazards include proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals
  • Atmospheric conditions that affect the respiratory system or skin may include fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
  • Potential skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids
  • Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with VSDs, switchboards, transformers, serial and TCP communications or other electrical equipment
