Job Summary
The Cementing Bulk Plant Operator is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery to customers. This role supports bulk plant operations by preparing, blending, and transporting bulk materials for wellsite delivery while maintaining high standards of quality control, operational efficiency, and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies. The operator also assists with inventory management, equipment maintenance, and training support for team members and trainees.
Job Description
- Ensure all job deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Blend and mix bulk products according to job program specifications for timely delivery to wellsites.
- Verify and calculate material blend quantities prior to loading operations.
- Follow quality assurance procedures to ensure proper loading and product integrity.
- Coordinate the movement of bulk products and materials with operations and logistics teams.
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and complete daily documentation for received and shipped goods.
- Safely label, store, and manage additives, including proper disposal of empty drums and containers.
- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance checks on bulk plant equipment while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Participate in job risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Consistently wear required PPE and comply with all HSE policies, industry standards, and governmental regulations.
- Support the training and development of operators and trainees as needed.
- Experience in bulk plant operations, logistics, manufacturing, or oilfield services is an asset.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and safe material handling practices.
- Ability to perform basic calculations and maintain accurate records.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adapt to operational schedules.
- High school diploma or GED;
- $16.50 - $23 pe r hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
- Industrial and field-based environment with exposure to bulk materials and heavy equipment.
- Requires adherence to PPE requirements and HSE protocols at all times.
