Key Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and report unsafe conditions immediately
- Exercise stop-work authority when work cannot be performed safely
- Report all incidents and accidents promptly
- Assist with welding and fabrication tasks using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Read and interpret basic prints and drawings as needed
- Inspect work pieces for defects and ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain equipment and ensure tools are in proper working condition
- Assist with dismantling metal assemblies and cutting materials using thermal-cutting equipment (torch or plasma)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Climb ladders and work on scaffolding as required
- Complete all required safety and job training
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or lead personnel
- High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 90% of the workday
- Frequent bending, squatting, and climbing ladders or stairs
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to judge distances, heights, and weights accurately
- Industrial/shop environment with exposure to welding equipment, machinery, and varying temperatures
- Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced setting
