Welders are needed in Midland, Texas, to join NOV and perform a variety of welding and finishing tasks on castings and metal parts. This role involves TIG and arc welding, grinding, polishing, and inspecting welds to ensure quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and compliance in an industrial environment.

• High school diploma or GED (vocational or technical school training preferred)
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Proficiency in arc welding and TIG welding
• Knowledge of grinding, sand/shot blasting, and finishing
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Familiarity with ASME & AWS standards
• Ability to weld in Flat/Horizontal positions and on open root groove and fillet welds
• Ability to communicate in English (written and oral)
• Physical ability to operate machinery for 8-12 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment continuously

• SMAW & GMAW certifications
• AWS certification
• Certified Welder or Certified Foundry Specialist (CFS)
• Forklift certification
