Field Operator II; Compressor Operator

Our client is seeking a Compressor Operator to work within their facilities located in Midland, TX on an initial 12‑month assignment (with possibility of extension or becoming permanent).

• Learn daily gas compressor and compressor facility operations.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Handle on‑call duties and drive company vehicle to locations.
• Perform work in learning mode, using appropriate tools, diagnosing, repairing or replacing equipment.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintain up‑to‑date reporting of facility operations.
• Be responsible for all aspects required for the JBPE.
• Interact daily with Foremen, Compressor Operators, Mechanics, Lease Operators and occasionally contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a Supervisor, including special projects and technological efficiency initiatives.

• Prior compressor gas lift operations experience preferred.
• Mechanical or oilfield related experience required – 2.5 years preferred.
• Must be able to work nights.

• High School diploma required.
• Prior mechanical and/or oil‑field experience required.
• Current valid vehicle operator’s license with an insurable driving record required.
