Set up and operate equipment, assist in resolving process problems, perform operations on tools and dies, conduct periodic preventive maintenance checks, and carry out less complicated repairs. Responsibilities include deburring parts, cleaning parts, reading process sheets, using gauges, making minor machine moves, and understanding product characteristics.
Responsibilities- Follow mechanical and technical aptitude and work instructions.
- Comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Set up and operate process equipment in an assigned area.
- Operate basic machine tools for repair, minor alterations, and tooling.
- Read and understand blueprints and work from written and verbal instructions.
- Apply basic shop mathematics and use basic measurement instruments.
- Service and repair equipment associated with the area where problems are identified.
- Assist in the development of other team members.
- Complete administrative tasks such as MRP, status of work in process, conduct safety meetings, and order tools and supplies.
- Perform unrelated duties as may be necessary to support the facility.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 6+ years of manufacturing work experience.
- CNC machine operating experience.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a machine operator.
- 2-year technical certificate preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
