Position: Maintenance Technician - PLC & Electro-Mechanical (Manufacturing)

The Opportunity

Description

Job Summary We are seeking a high‑skilled Maintenance Technician with strong Electro‑Mechanical and Automation experience to join our fast‑paced manufacturing team in Houston, TX. This role is critical for troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing complex production equipment. If you have hands‑on experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial control systems, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs, VFDs, and integrated control systems to minimize downtime.
  • Execute predictive and preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
  • Provide rapid‑response repairs for production‑critical machinery while adhering to all safety protocols (LOTO).
  • Utilize blueprints and schematics to restore operations quickly and safely.

This is a contract position with no benefits during the contract period. There is potential for full‑time conversion based on performance.

Experience Required for Your Success

What You Bring (Requirements)

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
    Technical certification is a plus.
  • 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.), VFDs, and HMIs.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to read complex schematics.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle the physical demands of industrial repair.
