Job Summary

As a Mechanic, you’ll play a critical role in the overhaul, repair, and assembly of advanced jet engines that power commercial and military aircraft around the world. Working in a hands‑on, team‑driven environment, you’ll apply your mechanical expertise to ensure engines are restored to peak performance, safety, and reliability.

What You Will Do

Work as a member of a team responsible for turbine engine, engine module, or component maintenance in accordance with published work instructions and approved technical data. Utilize common hand tools as well as a wide variety of tooling and fixtures to assemble/disassemble and test a jet engine. Ensure all phases of assembly/disassembly as specified by work instructions, comply with required self‑inspection or peer inspection of critical processes, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality, and Delivery objectives.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Aviation engine overhaul and repair experience
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P) Certificate (preferred)
  • Hands‑on experience in disassembly, inspection, assembly, or turbine engine test operations
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma (preferred)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and SAP (preferred)
