Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator; Weekend Shift

Location:

US-GA-MIDLAND-MPC (Macon Rd, BLDG MPC). Shift: 3x12 Fri‑Sun. Role Type:
Onsite. Citizenship: U.S. citizen required. Security clearance:
None required.

• Under the supervision of the Waste Operations Supervisor and Team, perform sampling and monitoring for required permit parameters.
• Operate wastewater treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment.
• Monitor control panels and adjust valves and gates manually to regulate flow of waste.
• Perform daily checks of the wastewater treatment process and periodic checks of pump stations.
• Maintain daily activity log of operations.
• Follow daily/weekly directions from operators to perform routine operations and maintenance.
• Utilize critical‑thinking skills to solve problems.
• Work with equipment such as meters, pumps, and valves.
• Attend scheduled meetings and maintain continuing education for wastewater license renewal.
• Complete required company EHS training and operate a powered industrial vehicle (forklift).
• Perform other activities as required to maintain successful operation of the facility.

• Basic understanding of chemicals and chemical compatibility.
• High school graduate or GED.
• 1+ year of wastewater treatment experience.
• Georgia Wastewater Operator License.
• Ability to work outdoors in seasonal weather conditions.
• Weekend schedule; some weekday overtime may be required.
