Warehouse & Yard Operator

Overview

Warehouse & Yard Operator in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain team supports daily warehouse and yard operations by ensuring efficient receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of materials. The role maintains inventory accuracy, supports production with timely material delivery, and enhances overall operational efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.

• Receive inbound materials from suppliers, Baker Hughes plants, and field locations, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Stock and organize materials, completed products, and assemblies in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick materials, components, and finished goods and deliver them to production or shipping areas.
• Prepare component kits and fulfill production orders to support manufacturing operations.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely while loading and unloading freight.
• Support shipping activities, including preparing outbound orders and supplier subcontract parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with company standards.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of related warehouse or logistics experience.
• Hands‑on forklift experience and certification (required).
• Basic math skills and the ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Basic PC skills, with experience using warehouse systems; SAP experience is a plus.
• Prior experience in an oilfield services or industrial environment (preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment with constant movement.
• Capable of regularly lifting up to 20 lbs and frequently lifting up to 50 lbs.
