Code Vessel Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 25.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Sunday from 06:00am to 06:00pm)

* Job Duties:

*

• Perform code welding on pressure vessels according to ASME standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and technical drawings

* Work Environment:
* This position operates in an industrial shop environment with exposure to heat, welding fumes, sparks, and elevated noise levels. Dress Code:
Steel-toe boots, long-sleeve work shirts, and work pants are required. Proper PPE including welding hood, gloves, safety glasses, and other protective equipment must be worn at all times.

* Physical Requirements:

* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted. Ability to stand for extended periods during 12-hour shifts. Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, and working in confined spaces

* Must Have

Qualifications:

* Previous Code Welding experience required. Experience welding pressure vessels according to ASME standards. Ability to read blueprints and welding procedures accurately. Must be able to communicate effectively in English

* Disqualify If:
* No previous Code Welding or pressure vessel welding experience. Unable to pass welding test. Unable to read blueprints or welding procedures. Unable to work 12-hour shifts or weekends as scheduled. Unable to work safely in industrial shop conditions. Unwilling to wear required PPE at all times. Unable to communicate effectively in English
