Structures Technician (Pay up to $51/hr)
Job Description The Structures Technician will perform manual labor in a production line, assembling parts for satellite systems. This role involves working as part of a production team and requires attention to detail and proficiency with various tools and equipment.
- Work as part of a production team to assemble parts.
- Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins.
- Manually assemble satellite sub-assembly parts.
- Use various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment.
- Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes.
- Pack, seal, and move boxes.
- Pick up, move, and sort small parts.
- Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Proficiency in assembly, blueprint reading, and wiring.
- Experience with structure and sheet metal repair, assembly, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- High aptitude for working with small electronics, including soldering small electrical components or mechanical equipment.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Associates degree or certificate in a technical area preferred.
- Experience in assembly or manufacturing.
- Experience in the space or aeronautical field is a plus.

Work EnvironmentThe position operates in a clean room environment where team members are required to wear smocks, hair nets, beard nets, and shoe covers.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Midland, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
