PBTX Job Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and other preparation methods
• Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings to industrial equipment and components
• Operate spray guns and other industrial painting equipment
• Mix paints and coatings according to specifications
• Inspect finished surfaces for proper coverage and quality
• Perform touch-ups and corrections as needed
• Maintain painting equipment and keep the work area clean and organized
• Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE
• Work effectively with other shop personnel to meet production deadlines

• Previous industrial painting experience preferred
• Experience with spray painting and coating metal surfaces
• Knowledge of surface preparation and proper paint application
• Ability to use grinders, sanders, spray guns, and other related tools
• Ability to work in a shop/industrial environment
  
  Must be dependable and able to work scheduled hours and overtime as required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Must be able to meet client safety and employment requirements
