Neonatal Nurse Practitioner; Per Diem

Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Opportunity in Midland, TX

Midland Memorial Hospital, in partnership with Pediatrix Medical Group, seeks per‑day Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to support the NICU program. The hospital has been providing quality care for more than 60 years and is recognized as one of the best places to work.

• 18 beds, Level II NICU
• Average 2300 deliveries annually
• Average daily census of 11
• NNP in‑house 24/7
• Physician provides in‑house coverage during the day, call from home
• Current Level II NICU with plans to develop into Level III early 2026

• TX medical license or active IMLC license, preferred
• Current APRN national specialty certification required
• Minimum of a master’s degree and 1 year post‑grad clinical experience required
• Recent NNP experience required (within the past 12 months)

Pediatrix covers travel expenses (round‑trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

The travel team receive W‑2 per diem compensation and malpractice insurance is covered by the employer.
