Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in a dynamic Emergency Department located in Midland, TX. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical care to a diverse patient population presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. The successful candidate will be responsible for rapid assessment, intervention, and stabilization of patients, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a high‑acuity environment.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms, upon arrival to the Emergency Department.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret diagnostic tests, and promptly report changes to the medical team.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies, participating in resuscitation efforts and life‑saving interventions.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records and other required documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and facilitate timely transfers or discharges.
- Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty:
Emergency Room (ER) - Minimum of 1‑2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting.

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
