Shift Details:

  • Day shift
    - Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.

  • Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.

  • Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.

  • Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.

  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.

  • Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted Texas license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a LPN within the last 3 years.

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,...).
