Full time OB Registered Nurse providing compassionate care to mothers and newborns in labor, delivery, and postpartum settings at a small community hospital near Pecos County and Odessa, Texas. The role offers day and night 12-hour shifts, biweekly overtime, and competitive pay up to $48/hr.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including fetal heart rate monitoring and assessments
- Assist physicians and providers during deliveries and procedures
- Educate patients and families on prenatal, postpartum, and newborn care
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Maintain accurate charting and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
- Promote a safe, patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes
- Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- BLS certification required
- Strong communication skills
- Team-focused mindset
Skills:
- NRP or Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
- One year of Labor & Delivery experience preferred
You hold an active Texas RN license and BLS certification. You have experience monitoring maternal and fetal well-being. You thrive in fast-paced labor, delivery, and postpartum care
